1. Exercises-

Exercise is the best way to deal with body pain. Doing regular exercise helps to strengthen the shoulder and neck muscles. It makes them strong and more flexible, thereby reducing the stiffness.

What to do:

  • You can perform some simple neck exercises.
  • Nod your head up and down for some time.
  • Rotate your neck clockwise and anticlockwise.
  • Do at least 20 repetitions, to release the stiffness from neck.

2. Ice Therapy-

One of the simple way to get rid of neck pain is to perform Ice therapy. Cold treatment alleviates pain and helps to reduce inflammation.

What to do:

  • Take a bag of ice or bag of frozen peas
  • Wrap the ice bag in a thin towel
  • Put it on the affected area for max. 15 minutes.
  • Never put the ice bag directly.

3. Epsom Salt-

Also known as Magnesium Sulfate, this salt is known to possess analgesic properties. It helps to deal with neck and shoulder pain.

What to do:

  • Take 1-2 cup Epsom salt
  • Mix it in warm water
  • Fill up your bathtub with warm water and add Epsom salt to it
  • Soak yourself in the bathtub for 10-15 minutes.

4. Water Therapy for Neck Pain-

Another amazing therapy to relieve neck and shoulder pain. You can do it easily while taking a shower. This water therapy involves a combination of hot and cold water. Hot water eases the stiff muscles and increases blood circulation. Coldwater reduces the inflammation in the neck.

What to do:

  • Target the affected area with hot water for 3-4 minutes
  • Then follow it with the cold water.
  • Do this for few minutes.

  • Take 1tsp. of Olive oil
  • Add few drops of peppermint oil
  • Few drops of lavender oil
  • And few drops of basil oil

  • Take a napkin and soak it in the ACV solution
  • Place the soaked napkin on the neck area
