Since childhood, we have been using oil, but I never heard of dry oil until now, when someone suggested that since I have oily skin, I should use oil. You all have heard about oils and essential oils. Essential oils are very beneficial for hair and skin; they provide essential nourishment to the skin and hair.

  • When you want to provide deep conditioning to your hair, you apply wet oil before shampoo. And oil, like argan oil or jojoba oil, is applied after shampoo to damp hair.
  • Wet oil takes longer to absorb and takes time to penetrate deeply in the hair. On the other hand,  oil gets easily absorbed and does not cause greasiness.
  • For makeup applications, wet oil is very rarely used. But dry oil is often used as makeup primer to give a matte finish.

If you feel you have frizzy hair, then applying dry oil is one of the best way to tame the frizziness and make your hair shine. Apply a small amount of dry oils on your damp hair.

Nail and Cuticles

Massaging your nails and cuticles strengthens them and also makes them shiny. Take a few drops of dry oil and massage it on your nails. This will strengthen your nails and make them shiny.

For cuticles, soak your hand in the lukewarm dry oil for 10 minutes. Then wash off your hands after 30 minutes.
