Here we are talking about how to get a taller? As we all love a good height. We all want to be taller, but till the time we realize what the importance of height is, we cross our age of 18. And since childhood, we have heard that the height only increases till 18. Nowadays, we have seen a number of medicine and acupressure available for increasing the height.   • Jump up and hang yourself to the bar.

  • Now try to pull yourself up, with the help of your hands.
  • Your back should be straight.
  • Stay in that position for few seconds and then relax.

2. Dry Land Swim-

This is also known as alternate kick, and it focuses on your lower back. The main aim of this exercise is to improve the flexibility of your body muscles and also to increase the height.

How to perform:

  • Lay down on the mat with your stomach touching the ground.
  • Place your arms in front of you.
  • Now, raise your left arm and left leg from the ground.
  • Keep your right leg and right arm straight.
  • Hold the position for 4 seconds and then switch the legs.
  • You can also add weight to your wrist and ankle for one step ahead.

3. Cobra Stretch Exercises To Become Taller-

Cobra stretch helps to grow and stretch your upper body. It makes your spine flexible and supple. This helps in the growth of your vertical height.

How to perform:

  • Lie on the floor with your face down and stomach touching the ground.
  • Your hands to be near your chest.
  • Place your palms downwards facing the ground.
  • Now try to lift yourself, by arching your spine and forming an elevated angle, by doing so, your hands will be straight and your body weight on the hands.
  • Hold the position of about 30 seconds.
  • Relax and repeat the process.

4. Hopping with one leg-

This is one of the simplest exercises which can be done anywhere, and you can also enjoy doing this. You can associate it with dancing, hopping with one leg is like dancing. The exercise helps in the brain development and strengthening of legs.

How to perform:

  • Stand on your legs.
  • Start jumping with your one leg and hands in the air.
  • First, hop on your left leg eight times and then switch the legs.

5. Forward Spine Stretch For Getting Taller-

This exercise targets the abdominals, back, and hamstrings. This is a little difficult in the starting, but with practice, one can touch the toe finally.

How to perform:

  • Sit up on the mat with your legs stretched in front.
  • Sit straight with your spine and back straight.
  • Now stretch your arms and try to reach the heels; you will feel a stretch in your leg muscles.
  • Your hands should be straight, and your back bent in a C-shaped.
  • Hold the position for a while, and then relax.

6. The Forward Bend –

A well known and widely followed exercise to increase height. The exercise helps in the stretching of the leg muscles.

How to perform:

  • Stand properly with your legs together.
  • Now, inhale and take your hands back above your head.
  • Exhale and bring the hands forward, trying to touch your feet with your hands.
  • Do not bend your knees while doing this.
  • Hold the position and then return back to your original position.

7. Spot Jump –

Spot jumping exercise helps stimulates your metabolism, strengthens your heart, and also increases your height.

How to perform:

  • Stand properly and keep your legs closed to each other.
  • Now jump with your hands above your head.
  • While coming down, make your legs in the squat position and your hands near your chest.
  • Repeat the steps for at least 2 minutes.

8. Pelvic Shift Exercises –

This is the best exercise for all those corporate people who have got the sitting job. Sitting for a very long time affects your height and also the overall growth of your height. Pelvic Shift helps increases the curvature of the lower spine.

How to perform:

  • Lie on the mat with a shoulder flat on the mat.
  • Keep your arms stretched out on the side with palms down.
  • Bend your knees and make sure your feet are closer to buttocks.
  • Arch your back, and make sure your pelvis is lifted.
  • Hold the position for about 20 to 30 seconds.

9. Side Stretch –

Side stretch exercise is very useful for the muscle stretch. It grows them and makes them elongated. While doing side stretch, make sure you feel your muscles pull along the side, from your lower back to shoulder. This exercise helps in stretching and strengthening your intercostal muscles.

How to perform:

  • Stand firmly on the ground with your feets hip apart.
  • Join and interlock your hands and stretch them over your head.
  • Bend your upper body towards left, your spine, and head to be straight.
  • While stretching, you should feel the whole left side of the muscles being stretched.
  • Hold the position of 20 seconds and then relax.
  • Repeat the stretch and then switch the sides.

  • Your right-hand parallel to the left leg and left hand close to your chest.

13. Wall Stretch For Getting Taller-

Wall stretch seems to be a little simple, but it is difficult as it involves your spine to be straight and you to be against the wall.

How to perform: 

  • Stand up against the wall and make sure your hands are straight and as high as possible.
  • You can stand on your tiptoes.
  • Make sure your spine is straight and as flat as possible.
  • Now try to stretch yourself by pushing towards the wall and your hands restricting it.
  • Repeat it for 4 to 6 seconds.
