1. Aloe vera:-

Aloe vera is the best home remedies for both skin and hair. Rubbing the aloe vera gel on the skin tightens the skin, hydrates it, and also reduces the pore size.

How to apply-

  • Cut the aloe vera leaf.
  • Extract the aloe vera gel from it and rub it on your skin for a minute.
  • Leave it for 10-15 minutes.
  • Wash it off with lukewarm water.

2. Egg White:-

Egg white is very effective for skin and is one of the best home remedies for open pores. It helps in the tightening of the skin and also tones it. It is an excellent ingredient for reducing pore size, and it also tones the skin.

How to apply-

  • Take one egg white.
  • Mix it with 2 tbsp. of oatmeal and 2 tbsp. of lemon juice.
  • Make an even paste and apply it to your face.
  • Leave it for 30 minutes and wash it off with cold water.

3. Apple Cider Vinegar:-

We have seen many benefits of Apple cider vinegar in the past. It helps to cleanse our skin and reduces the pore size. It also acts as a toner and tightens your skin. A great ingredient to restore your pH value of the skin and also to maintain the elasticity of the skin.

How to apply-

  • Take 1tbsp. ACV and 1tbsp of water.
  • Mix ACV with water.
  • Apply the mixture to your face with the help of cotton.
  • Let it dry and then wash it off with lukewarm water.

4. Olive Oil:-

Olive oil has both anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It helps to keep the skin healthy and rid of any itchiness and dryness. Olive oil also prevents premature aging spots and protects the skin from harmful UV rays. It is rich in vitamins, which helps to fight off the free radicals from the skin and moisturize the skin.

How to apply-

  • Take a few drops of olive oil.
  • Massage the olive oil on the large pore area in a circular motion.
  • Leave it for few minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water.

4. Yogurt:-

Yogurt is good even for eating and applying on the skin. It helps to make the skin clean and glowy. It reduces the blemishes and tightens the pores. Yogurt keeps away all the dirt and pollution from the skin and is a great exfoliator. It also helps to remove the wrinkles and fine lines.

  • Take a small tomato.
  • One tsp. of honey (if you have dry skin)
  • Mix the tomato pulp with the honey.
  • Apply it to your face and neck and let it dry.

6. Tea Tree Oil:-

Tea tree oil has astringent properties, which helps in reducing the pore size and slowly diminishes it. Its anti-inflammatory properties help to soothe the skin and relieve the pain and irritation. It removes acne, dark spots, and pigmentation.

How to apply-

  • Take 3-4 drops of tea tree oil and a cup of water.
  • Take a jar and store the diluted tea tree oil in it.
  • Keep it in the refrigerator.
  • Spray some of it on your face.
  • Let it evaporate naturally.

7. Banana:-

Banana is great for both eating and applying on skin. Banana even makes a good hair mask. For open pores, you need the banana peel. Banana Peel contains minerals, potassium, and antioxidant lutein, which heals and rejuvenates your skin.

How to apply-

  • Take 1 Banana peel.
  • Gently wipe the banana peel on your face.
  • Leave it for 10-15 minutes.
  • Wash it off with cold water.

8. Cucumber:-

  • Take 4-5 cucumber slices.
  • 2 tbsp. of lemon juice.
  • Grind the slices and juice in the mixer to make a paste.

  • Rinse it off with cold water.

9. Besan:-

Besan, with its anti-microbial properties, makes an excellent face pack. It exfoliates the skin and removes the dead cell from it. Apart from deeply cleaning the pores, it helps to tighten and brighten the skin and gives a refreshing look.

How to apply-

  • Take 1 tbsp of Besan.
  • One tsp. of turmeric powder.
  • 1 tbsp. Of yogurt and few drops of olive oil.
  • Mix them to make a proper paste.
  • Apply the paste on your face and leave it for 20-25 minutes.
  • Rinse it with cold water.

10. Baking Soda:-

Baking soda is enriched with anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It helps in reducing the pimples and acne and also removes the dead skin cells. Baking soda also helps to maintain the pH balance of the skin. A great exfoliator, which brightens the skin and also protects it from UV rays.

How to apply-

  • Take 2 tbsp. Of baking soda and 2 tbsp. of water.
  • Make a paste of it and apply it on your face.
  • Massage with the paste on the face for about 30 seconds.
  • Rinse it off with cold water.

11. Multani Mitti:-

Multani Mitti is very beneficial for the skin. It helps to brighten the color, unclogs the pores, removes the excess oil, and tightens the skin. Multani Mitti or fuller’s earth is very effective, it helps to calm down the skin and remove acne, dark spots, and blemishes.

How to apply-

  • Take 2 tbsp. of Multani Mitti.
  • 1-2 tbsp. Of rose water or milk.
  • Mix Multani Mitti with rose water and make a paste.
  • Apply a thin layer on your face and let it dry.
  • Rinse it off with cold water.

12. Papaya:-

Papaya is very beneficial for the skin. It helps to brighten the skin color and also reduces the pore size by unclogging them. Papaya contains minerals and vitamins which helps to reduce the skin inflammation, remove wrinkles and fine lines and also control the acne breakout.

How to apply-

  • Take a few pieces of papaya.
  • Mash the papaya and rub it on your skin.
  • Leave it for 20 minutes before rinsing it off with water.
